We are inspiring others to greatness. Simply put, we’re world transformers. Every time we impact an individual, we impact the world in our own way.

You see, we are living in a time where so many people are defeated and discouraged. The news is so depressing. More and more, the world desperately needs inspiration and encouragement. It’s a privilege to be called upon to stand and deliver in these uncertain times. Right?

Now, you may be thinking, “I’m not a motivational speaker”. Okay, let’s look at it this way: If you are

Stop Waiting To Be Successful

I’m sure you have heard that success favors the bold and the strong. Simply put, you cannot wait for it to come to you. You have to go after it. You also have to go to it with force. In other words, you cannot be casual when it comes to getting what you want.

Most people in life are raising their hands saying they want a thing. However, very few people will actively get up and go get it. I often observe that those people have too much faith. I know. It sounds impossible to have too much faith. After all, faith is what is lacking.

Well, when I say too much faith I’m talking about stupid faith. Have you ever seen people who want to move mountains yet they have not idea how to move the mountains? I’m sure you know the kind of people I’m talking about. Your thinking is probably, “Are they living a real life?” And I think the same thing.

Now, that is not to say you cannot accomplish any thing with faith. Of course you can. That’s not what I’m saying. In fact,  I will leave this for another discussion for later. The way I see it, faith is the first requirement for success.

I just want to sound the alarm for you here to make you aware that you cannot get what you want by wishing. You have to, at some point, take the necessary steps to go after it. Success has no favorites. It only obeys natural laws. And that natural I’m referring here is action.

So, let me ask you this: When was the last time you took some bold actions to go after what you want? Really. Can you tell me how many actions you have taken recently? When I say bold action I mean facing your fears. You know there’s no guarantee. You know you might fail. You know others might ridicule you and call you stupid.

You still find the courage to act. You still believe you can get that which you are looking for. You still cherish the dream even when there’s no sign it’s going to happen. Do you see what I mean?

When you have that kind of mindset, you are demonstrating that you are bold. As I mentioned before, success goes to the bold not the timid. It’s not going to those who are casually trying to succeed.

Let’s say you want to climb the ladder of success in your workplace. Are you going to show up to work every day wishing to get a promotion? That would be a bad idea.

First, I think you should make it known that you want a promotion. Then, you have to actively learn how to get a promotion at work so you can do the things that will attract the promotion to you. This is demonstrating you are serious about your success and you are actively pursuing that success.

The fundamental point I’m making here is that you must take a stand for your success. You must do something every single day to attract what you want. Have faith and work your faith. Because, you see, inactive faith is foolishness. Not having a solid plan of action is foolishness.

Now, starting right now, go do the things that can make you successful. Because until you do, nothing will happen. You will continue to live a life of frustration.

Speaking Just For The Money Is Not Good

I am really mad. Allow me to bend your ear a little bit.

For a long time I tried not to engage in any negative exchange on my sites. I’m really not very confrontational at all. But I think this time I need to speak my mind.

A woman contacted me a few weeks ago. She wanted some information on my coaching program. Someone from my office spoke to her and gave the info she needed. In fact, I also spoke to her on the phone as well.

A few weeks later, she called again. This time she wanted to know about my credentials. She wanted to know what coaching school I attended. She also wanted to know what kind of certification I offer after my speaking for a living training.

As soon as she started asking these questions, I decided that I did not want to coach her. First, I don’t really

How To Stay Motivated

Motivation is always something that happens on the inside of you. Do not have the illusion that if you hear a motivational speaker, you will instantly get motivated. Yes, you might get a boost in the moment. But at the end of the day you have to find it in you to fire up yourself.

If you want to learn how to stay motivated, you have to begin to ponder motivational thoughts. You see, your brain is like your backyard, if you leave it unattended, in no time, weeds will take over and start growing wild.

I am sure you have seen weeds growing wild at a vacant house before, right? A couple of weeks ago, I had a few speaking engagements back to back. I was on the road a lot. I remember the day I came back. I could not believe what I saw. There were weeds all over the yard.

I am talking about a yard that is well maintained throughout the year. Imagine if I were going for three or four months. I probably would not have been able to see the house. The person cutting the grass would have to charge double or triple to do the job.

That is the same for your mind. If you are not consistently taking care of it, negative thoughts will invade it really fast. Look at it this way, you never have to plan on being negative. No. That is automatic.

The moment you wake up to the time you go to bed, there are lots of things to trigger your mood negatively. In fact, there are enough negative people around around you to help you be and stay negative.

The key is to consistently read positive and uplifting books. You have to flood your mind with the right triggers. Listen to motivational CDs. Watch motivational DVDs. Simply put, take charge of how you want to feel.

So many times we see people with negative attitudes. They seem to always be mad at someone or something. What they don’t realize is they can have a positive attitude by simply feeding their mind with motivational, uplifting and encouraging words.

As a keynote speaker, people ask me all the time about ways to stay motivated. I tell them to watch out what enters their minds. You see, whatever you put in is exactly what you will put out.

How To Deal With Difficult Employees

As I travel the United States to speak at conferences, people often ask me this question: “How to deal with difficult employees.” What they don’t realize is the world is full of difficult people. Just in case you didn’t know, you are surrounded every day by difficult people.

They are there to make your life miserable. They are there to stress you out. Your job is to make sure they don’t get under your skin. You have to know how to manage your moods and emotions so you can be in control.

Don’t let other people figure out your hot buttons in order to push you around whenever they want to. I have an awesome blog post on my blog where I offer you 4 simple ways to handle hard-to-get-along-people.

Once you are armed by those 4 strategies, you be in total control of how you react. Go here to read the post: How To Deal With Difficult People In The Workplace

Difficult Employees

We all know that one difficult employee can make life difficult for everyone. I never really understand how those hard=to-get-along with people get hired in the first place.

I wish there was a way one can make them breathe on a device that can detect their mean attitude. I guess that device is a long way coming. Until then, there are some ways to handle them.

If you are asking yourself how to deal with difficult employees, I have a few suggestions:

1- Do not let them get under your skin. You are in the workplace to work and get things done. There is no need to spend your time worrying about the wrong attitude. When a person say something mean or refuse to cooperate, keep pressing on.

2- Feed their ego. This is the best advice you’ll ever get on this subject. Mean people are mean people. It has nothing to do with you. They are mean at home and at work. Such people often suffer from low self-esteem. Your job is to give them lots of kudos to make them feel good.

3- Make them feel their ideas are important to you. That is right! The moment you seek their advice, they feel a sense of contribution. Everyone wants to contribute one way or another. Say, “Can I get your advice on this?” That one simple sentence can turn any mean person into a polite one.

I know what I just shared with you is very basic and simple. You are right. But don’t let simplicity get in your way. Starting from right now, start apply the three simple ideas I shared with you and you will see a huge difference in the way people relate to you.

Public Speaking Tips

Here’s a valuable speaking tip: Record every speech!

Yes, it doesn’t matter whether you are just starting out or you are a veteran public speaker record everything. That how you grow. That’s how you make progress. As a public speaker or I should say motivational speaker, you need to have a library of your speeches.

Now, you will get tired of hearing yourself. Or maybe I should point out that you won’t like hearing yourself. But that’s not my point. There’s a vital reason why I want you to

Success Is A Myth

Why do I say it is a myth? It’s because so many are chasing in it in the wrong places. Or maybe I should the measure of which most people are measuring success is erroneous. Now, I know every has a definition for success.

The reality is, even if you don’t think you have a definition, you still have one. it may not be obvious to you. But it’s in your head or your heart. My own definition is when I can feed and clothe millions of people around the world.

Alright, let me say why I think success is a myth. There are people out there who look so successful to many yet they are struggling. The dress good, look good and talk good.

Heck, some of those successful people even lie about their success just make other cater to them. Yet, there are also others that do so in order to lure others to buy their stuff.

I have seen many of the latter in the internet marketing space. They claim they are making a truckload of money and they want to show you. Okay, I am not saying they all do it but most do.

Since most people are only buying a dream or a hope, they fall pray to those who blow their horn claiming they are millionaires. That is why I believe success is a myth.

But the main reason is because people who are really successful with legitimate money often feel they are not successful at all. Why? They want more money.

There you have it. Your idea about success may be a myth. The reality is, once you have what you want, you will still want more. Myth. Myth.
